Our Town Block Swap

As promised in yesterday's post, Here are the pictures of the "Our Town" block swap that we did at this weekend's retreat. Now I have to decide to put them together. I think I'll make a few more blocks to go with these. We were supposed to have 12 blocks, but two people opted out so I still need a church and a police station.

What great quilt blocks. Especially the fire station! I have participated in a trade for house blocks but I like the idea of different buildings even better.

Awesome find...I have to make a person a "town"themed block next month as a part of a block swap and I have been SO not looking forward to this (not really sure what to do!). Now I think I have some ideas!

Of course I love all of these! I'm working on a town theme myself. Your firestation is so cute. I love your blog header. It is really sweet. How do you like your feather weight? I've gotten one myself recently but haven't used it much. I need to get used to it and use it before the retreat I'm taking it to.
