Snow in Texas

WOW! Yesterday, Texas received snow.....we don't get a lot of snow, but the weather has been really crazy the past year are so.
I had to go into work yesterday morning (NOT because I wanted to) and here is a pic of just outside the back of the building. On the way home, I took a pic of these trees on my road. I thought they were beautiful.

Lastly, is a pic of my house....I don't know why I didn't snap a pic of the studio. YES, I do....baby, it was COLD out there!

On Friday, I spent the day on the couch (as in couch potato). I read my Kindle, did some handwork, slept, ate, slept, ate....oh and watched some TV too!!!
Today, I plan to spend some time out in the studio. Barbara Brackman posted the next Civil War block and Bunny Hill has posted the 2nd Henrietta block, and I have a T-shirt quilt to get started. SEW, as you can see I've got to get busy.....no laziness on the couch today for this girl!

Hope you all have a SUPER SATURDAY!

Looks like you had a lot of snow. We thought we were going to get some, but ended up with ice. From one Texas girl to another....it's too cold for my bones! It's been a week since I've been out to my studio, but today's the day I'm going to suck it up, bundle up and head out there to enjoy a day of sewing!!!

the snow is melting here in Dallas, thankfully! and yes, its too cold for the old bones! I haven't even wanted to get busy doing anything. Now with the sunshine, I'm inspired.
Enjoy your day!

Looks beautiful with the snow! I enjoy the snow and miss it. I've been trying to catch up on homework so I haven't been able to do much of anything. I can't wait until December when I'm done with school!
