Amen to that........living in NJ in a town where several were killed that day, it has had a lasting effect on me. We need to make sure future generations always remember, too....so the right level of vigilance can be maintained in order to prevent another such horrible day for our country.
Thank you for remembering 9-11 and for taking time to post your thoughts on your blog. May we never forget.

I feel like those in control wish we would forget this horrific event that happened in our country.
It is up to us, American citizens, to keep the reminder going.

I was very busy yesterday, but my mind kept wandering to that day, remembering what I was doing, what I was watching on TV. No, I don't think I will forget.
I have a son that is a Firefighter so we can forgot this. I worry so much about him every time we hear about a firefighter going down. There was just two last week in California.
We also went to New York the following summer after 911 and went to the sight and boy I have never felt such a somber feeling as I did that day!

I certainly hope we never forget, although I think there are many in our government these days that wish it would just go away. I will never forget the horror of that day and the sadness that followed.
