I can't believe that it has been so long since I have posted to my blog. I started a new job the first of July and that has been taking a lot of my time. I haven't gotten much sewing done, but I'm ready for September!!!!!
I think most of you know that I belong to the Wacky Pack quilting group. We are currently in an 'ole bag' swap. This is where we each provide a large gallon-size baggie full of scraps. We rotate the bags around, making blocks out of each bag. Once we complete rotating the bags, we will have blocks for a truly scrappy quilt. This picture is just one of the bags that I have had the fun with. I will post a picture of the "broken dishes" blocks that I am making

This bag of scraps thing sounds like fun. How many blocks do you make from each bag and who gets the blocks?
What a fun idea! Looking through other people's scraps is always so much fun :)
I love the idea of you all swapping the bags of scraps around! I look forward to seeing your blocks.
Jeanne, Each person makes as many blocks as they would like from each scrap bag. I think most of us are making 3-4 blocks. We keep the blocks that we make.
Helen,
Thanks! It is a lot of fun and a great way to get a scrappy quilt with a great variety of fabrics.
Swooze,
Thanks, I hope to get a picture posted this weekend of the blocks that I am making.
